John George Panos

July 15th, 1946 – January 22nd, 2025

John was born in Mount Vernon, NY on July 15th, 1946. He and his sister Paula, were the two children born to George and Gloria Panos.

John married Kathleen in 2003 and they had a wonderful 25 years together.

John graduated from Fordham University with a finance degree and worked in the NY City Finance Department. He moved to Florida in the late 1990’s and never looked back. Golfing was his passion and he taught his wife and grandson to love the sport. He also turned them into Yankee baseball fans with Spring Training tickets for 25 years.

John was a loving husband and a generous man. He insisted on his grandson, Tyler Bukowski, get the best education possible and was so proud that he is currently a freshman at Florida State University. John was a strong father figure to his stepdaughter Lizette Davis. He demonstrated what to expect in a good man, and was always there for her. He was also extra proud of his niece, Arianna, for her drive, intelligence, and doctorate in psychology.

John is survived by his wife, Kathleen; sister, Paula Brandolini; niece, Arianna Brandolini; stepdaughter, Lizette Davis; grandson, Tyler Bukowski; his cousin, Joane Oris and her husband, Michael Oris.

A celebration of Life service will be held at the gravesite in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery; 7950 131st Street North Seminole, FL 33776 on February 2nd, 2025 at 11:30am
