

HILL, Mary Ann, 90, of Mainlands Unit 5 Pinellas Park, FL., passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 with courage, style and grace matched by few . She was born in Boomer, WV and moved to Pinellas Park in 1972 from Charleston, WV with her late husband, Frank. Mary Ann was a waitress at Maas Brothers in St. Petersburg and Holiday Inn on Madeira Beach. During WWII Mary Ann worked for AMF, manufacturing 20mm antiaircraft gun barrels. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a greeter and usher, and a member of the Young at Heart. She was also a member of The Ladies of the Elks #2217 in Pinellas Park and the Unit 5 Women’s Club. Mary Ann served as a volunteer for Tampa Bay Harvest Food Bank.
Survivors include sons, Steven A. (Linda) and Roger G. (Marie) Hill; a daughter, Mary Theresa (Schaun) Weingart; and grandchildren, Jason and Eric Weingart, and Joseph and Jonathan Hill.
Visitation held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6 to 8pm at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park.
