Mary was born to Michael and Eva Wincler on May 26, 1942, in Ashley, Pennsylvania. She graduated from St. Leo’s High School and received a Degree from Empire Beauty School. She married Thomas W Stancik Sr. on May 18, 1974 and raised their family in Plains, Pennsylvania.
She leaves her beloved husband, Thomas Sr.; son, Thomas Jr. and daughter-in-law Melissa Stancik; daughter, Adina and son-in-law John Sheldon.
She is preceded in death by her parents Michael Wincler (father), and Eva Wincler (mother). She is survived by her sister Margaret (Peggy) Norkunas.
Mary was a hairdresser, who once owned and operated her own salon. She was a very caring mother and grandmother to her four grandchildren, Brennan, 15, Kenley, 6, Caydan, 3 and Brycen 1 all who lovingly called her Nena.
The family would like to thank Suncoast Hospice and Family First Homecare for their consistent and kind care of Mary and her family.
Visitation held from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm,Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the funeral home with committal prayers and entombment to follow at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
