Mildred Louise King

King, Mildred L. 98 of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. Mildred was born on March 1, 1914 in Egbert, Arkansas. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1995 coming from Oakland Park, FL. where she was a pioneer of Broward County from 1928 – 1995. Mildred was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, FL, a Life member of the Moose Lodge #871 in St. Petersburg, FL and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3700 in Oakland Park, FL.

Mildred is survived by a loving daughter Barbara Williams & Jack Strobridge of St. Petersburg, FL and a son Eddie J (Lois) King of San Antonio, TX. She has 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons.

Visitation held Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 4:30 - 6 pm with Funeral Services at 6 pm all at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131 Street North, Seminole, FL 33776. Ph# 727-391-0121. Graveside services held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11 am at Forest Lawn Central Cemetery, 499 NW 27th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
