

She was born in Columbus Ohio on January 29, 1941 to Lawrence and Louise Leach. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory High School and worked for the State of Ohio for 25 years. She moved to Florida after retiring from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources at age 55. In Florida, she worked for Lake Seminole Square Retirement Community for 10 years. After retirement, she was an active volunteer with The All Children’s Hospital Guild.
She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Seminole.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerome Michael Luczaj (Jerry), whom she married in Columbus, Ohio on June 23, 1962. They celebrated their 50th anniversary earlier this summer with family and friends.
She is also survived by her children, Jerome Eric Luczaj (Diane) of Cincinnati, Michael Lawrence Luczaj of Myrtle Beach, Kristin Ann Luczaj of Seminole, and honorary daughter Gractia Manning (Tom) of Dayton; two grandchildren, Alexander Thomas Luczaj and Matthew Cameron Luczaj of Cincinnati; two sisters Patricia (Messmer) Richard of Seminole and Carole Cletzer (Ken) of Tampa, and many dear friends and relatives.
Memorial Mass service will be held at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on September 8th at 11:30am. She’ll be laid to rest at Bay Pines Memorial Park on September 10th at 12:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Suncoast Hospice, St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, or All Children’s Hospital Guild.
