81, of Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully January 21, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born May 29, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Chester and Helen (Sheffer) Remley. Velma and her late husband, Jack moved their family to Florida in 1990 from Columbus. Velma was a wonderful mother and was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward D. Roberts; a brother, Jim Remley; and a sister, Dorothy Jeffries. She is survived by a son, Kenneth “Bud” Roberts; a daughter, Cheryl Lunsford; a brother, Dale Remley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, including granddaughter, Rebecca Vogt and great granddaughter, Brittney Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home.
