Vincent V. Zumpano,Sr., 92, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Seminole, FL. He was born in Rogliano, Italy, the son of Antonio Zumpano and Vincenza Gabriel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fortunata “Diane” Zumpano. He is survived by 4 loving children, Lucia and (Corrado Anello) , Anthony and (Diane Zumpano) ,Rosanna and (David Cassani) and Vincent and (Deborah Zumpano). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and hockey. He also loved “Big Band Music” and dancing with his beloved wife. He treated everyone with respect and set a high standard for honesty, integrity, and hard work. Vince was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
He worked at American National Insurance Company for over 20 years earning numerous awards and trips. He also achieved the prestigious CLU designation. He served in WWII in the US Army from 1946 to 1949.
Viewing held on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home in Seminole, FL. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in St Petersburg, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to Suncoast Hospice in St Petersburg, FL.
