83, of Seminole, Florida, passed away Oct 22, 2015 at Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in Bay Pines, Florida. He was born Oct 23, 1931 in Meriden, Connecticut. He moved to Florida in 1946 from Meriden and retired from maintenance quality control at Top of the World in Clearwater, Florida after 46 years of service. Scotty was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, and parents, Wilbur and Mary (Cecchini) Young. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Wilkerson, and her husband, Mark; a step-daughter, Carla Barnes; a sister, Jean Smith, and three grandsons, Oren Wilkerson, Jonathan Barnes, and Steven Barnes.
Graveside services and Military Honors will be 1:30pm Thursday, Nov. 5th at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida. Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors.
