

Mr. Miner was born on December 25, 1932 in New Haven, Ct. and was the son of the late Percy Albert Miner and Theodora Gedridge Miner. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired as a District Sales Manager with Pfizer in their fragrance division. Following his retirement from Pfizer he created a business called Wye County Barns which he had until fully retiring in Florida. Mr. Miner had a servants heart and loved doing for others. While residing in Winterhaven Florida he was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church where he and his wife Marion were very active in missions in Costa Rica and establishing the thrift store at the church. He was a member of the Lions Club in the Eastern Shore of Maryland and also worked with the Habitat for Humanity. He and Dianne moved to Calabash six years ago and are members of Andrews Chapel Global Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Marion Joyce Miner.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Miner of the home; three children, Tom Miner and wife Laurie of Charlotte, N.C., Rick Miner of Harrington, De. And Margie Ekegbu and husband Vincent of Calabash; a stepdaughter, Mardell McPherson of Kingston Ontario Canada; six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Andrews Chapel Global Methodist Church with Reverend Phil Norris officiating.
