Born on March 2, 1955, in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, Andrew’s life itself was a miracle, a testament to God’s grace and mercy. He lived his life guided by faith, service, and compassion for others and was known for his strong evangelical spirit, warm smile, and genuine love for people.Andrew remained grateful for the early years he spent building a family, and found great joy in his role of Father. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Mary Anne Miller. He never met a stranger and had a special gift for making others laugh through his arsenal of jokes and playful tricks.
Over the past five years, he faithfully ministered to the men and women who walked through the doors of Christian Recovery Centers, Inc., always willing to pray, listen, and offer encouragement. In the past year, as Andrew’s health declined, the very men he had poured into returned that same kindness by caring for him, standing by his side, and surrounding him with love, dignity, and brotherhood. Special recognition is given to Dwane Richardson, Chris Smith, Howard Cooper, Steve Inman, Josh Raynor, Matt Lawlor, Jake Hudson, and Jon Lindsey. The family is especially grateful for the time, energy, and heart they poured into him every single day.
His life was a living testimony to his faith in Jesus Christ and his belief in redemption, grace, and second chances. He will be remembered for his humor, compassionate heart, and unwavering faith. Though he will be deeply missed, his family rejoices in the promise of eternal life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christian Recovery Centers, Inc., where his memory and ministry will continue to live on.
