Chuck was born in Huntington, West Virginia on February 5, 1973 and was the son of Harold "Nick" Nicholas and Ann Verbage Nicholas. He loved music and was a talented drummer. Following High School he performed with the bands, Chum, Karma To Burn and Black Cat Bone and during this time he performed in Europe for one month. Chuck loved cooking and became a talented Sioux Chef. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold "Nick" Nicholas.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Nicholas of the home; a brother, Gregory Winkler of Twin Falls, Idaho; a nephew, Tyler Winkler of Boise Idaho.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday April 4, 2025 at two o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel with Reverend Chris Wroten officiating. Inurnment will follow in Cape Fear Memorial Park Columbarium, Southport.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home thirty minutes prior to the service.
