Christine Gore

Crick was born in Brunswick County on August 16, 1946, and daughter of the late Vinson Long and Mettie Register Long of Longwood, North Carolina. She worked for a research credit bureau until retirement. Crick was known for her huge sense of humor that could always make you smile. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially shopping trips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Gore, sisters, Annie Ruth Bennett, Debbie Leonard, Mildred Jenrette.

Survivors include her son, Michael Gore and girlfriend, Mandy McKoy of Castle Hayne; granddaughters, Hailey Gore and Makayla Gore; special nieces, Melissa Wilkes and Melaney Flowers; nieces, Susan Bennett and Tracy Ward; nephews, David Bennett,Bryan Ward and Chris Grooms; and many other family members and friends who had the pleasure to be a part of her life.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at eleven o’clock in the morning at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 4690 East Coast Lane, Shallotte, North Carolina with Reverend Jason Benton officiating. A private inurnment will follow.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
