Mr. White was born September 16, 1946 in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of the late Loyd White and Margaret McKinney White. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was funny, witty, and stubborn but was a good story teller. His hobbies included watchmaking and collecting model trains. CW was hardly ever seen without his favorite drink, Dt. Pepsi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Rusty White and Michael White, and his favorite dog, Baby Girl.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lynn White of the home; three grandchildren, James White and wife Angela, David White, and Elizabeth White; daughters-in-law, Rebecca White of Supply and Kelly White of Supply; and his canine companion, Dee Dee.
In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
