Dennis was born in New Hanover County to Dennis Earl Knight,Sr. and Sharon Hewett Knight. Dennis loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved being with his family and friends. Dennis was a stone mason. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Knight,Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Hewett Knight of Supply; three children, Dennis Earl Knight,III and wife Cheyenne of Swansea, S.C., Amanda Marie Knight of Lexington, S.C. and Layla Knight of Supply; grandchildren, Faye Berry, Skye Berry, David Knight, Abigail Knight and William Knight; a sister, Shannon Jackson and husband Thomas of Supply; two nephews, Jordan Jackson and Thomas Knight of Supply.
