Born in West Hazelton PA, she was one of twelve children to Bruno and Mary Salkowski. She enjoyed camping with her husband and playing Bingo with her girlfriends. She was a good cook with her May 1, 1932cast iron frying pans, her specialty was potato pancakes.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Lurix, and her wonderful husband, Edward; her two sons, E.J. and Brian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Tutko in 1997 and her 11 siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at White Funeral Service, 3660 Express Drive in Shallotte.
