Ellis Elbert Jackson

Ellis Elbert Jackson, age 74, of Ash, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at home peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born in Conway S.C. February 10, 1951 to Elbert and Carrie Jackson. In addition to his parents , he was predeceased by a brother, Wildy Jackson and a sister, Carolyn Miller.

Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was the owner of Jackson's Heating and Air Repair and also worked with Bellamy Sand Co. for 15 years. He was an avid hunter and commercial fisherman and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Anita Jackson, 2 daughters; Kayla Smith and husband Mark, Stacy Hewett and husband Brian, 4 grandchildren; Savannah Smith, Abrey Smith, Mason Hewett and Maddox Hewett, a special niece; Robin Hicken and great nephew Tanner Hicken, 1 brother; Kenny Jackson and wife Pearline and 2 nephews and 1 niece.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning at The Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel with Reverend Dallas Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Gore Cemetery, #5 School House Road, Ash, NC.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Hicken, Terry Grant, Michael Bellamy, Jason Benton, Jerry Todd and Steve Norris.

The family will receive friends at White Funeral and Cremation service, Shallotte Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm.
