Eva Louise Fulwood

Born in Ocean Drive, SC on, October 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Elbert Leon Hilburn and Pauline Floyd Hilburn Hewett of Ocean Isle Beach. Louise was retired from the US Postal Service after thirty years of service. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her career and traveling. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Leonard Hewett.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her loving husband, Jerry Fulwood of the home; two sons, Thomas Fulwood and wife Vickie, Phillip Fulwood and wife Janice all of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; three sisters, Doris Hewett and husband Marshall, Paula Hayden and husband Cliff, Tammy Fulford; a brother, Eddie Hilburn and wife Nancy; seven grandchildren, Christian, Emily, Alicia, Michael and Amber Fulwood, Meghan and Bryan Baringer; two great grandchildren, Kadance and Bradyn Baringer and eleven nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the eleventh of May, 2017 at St Brendan Catholic Church where she was a longtime member. Burial will follow in the Mintz Cemetery.

You are invited to a visitation with the family Wednesday, from six o’clock until eight o’clock, in the evening at the White Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte.

Flowers are accepted and anyone wanting to offer donations in lieu of flowers may do so to the American Heart Association.
