She was born on April 30, 1940 the daughter of the late Samuel Williams and Nellie Pursley Williams.
Mrs. Broome was a retired Registered Nurse.
Surviving are; two sons, Samuel Broome and wife, Nikki and Anthony Broome; one step-daughter, Deborah H. Rutledge and husband, James; one brother, Bud Broome; three grandchildren, James, Elizabeth and Jordan.
