Mr. Greene was born in Charleston, S.C., on April 13, 1948, and was
the son of George Nash Greene Sr. and Louise Thompson Greene. He was
U.S. Marine Corp veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a
retired accountant.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Greene of the home; two sisters,
Anne G. Campbell of Holden Beach and Lise G. Rogers of Greensburg,
Pa.; nephews, Rusty Campbell of Holden Beach, Joe Rogers of Stafford,
Mo., and Sean Rogers of Kansas City, Mo.; a niece, Sydney R. Beeler of
Greensburg, Pa.; two great-nephews and two great-nieces.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at the
Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, S.C., at a date to be
announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the
Alternative Ministry, C/O Rev. Warren Sprouce, 132 Lake Jogasee Dr.,
Summerville, SC 29485.
