Janice Hewett Pigott

Janice Hewett Pigott, born May 28, 1938, age 87, of Supply, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on January 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted Christian, Janice lived her life guided by faith, prayer, and a steadfast trust in the Lord. Her beliefs shaped her character, her kindness toward others, and her unwavering love for her family.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Alene Berlyn Lancaster Hewett and Lennell Weston Hewett; her beloved son, Robert Dean Pigott; and her sisters, Berlyn Ruth Hewett, Louberta Clemmons, and Mary Catherine Royal.

She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly seventy years, Sheldon Earl Pigott, of the home; her sister, Eva Mae Melvin of White Lake, North Carolina; her son, David Pigott (Teresa) of Supply, North Carolina; her grandson, Michael Pigott (Patti) of Supply, North Carolina; her granddaughters, Melissa Wescott (Marc) of Bolivia, North Carolina, and Janet Little of Supply, North Carolina; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Janice found her greatest joy in her family. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife and friend to many.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM. at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou White Memorial Chapel, 4690 East Coast Lane, Shallotte, North Carolina with Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating. Graveside services will held at a later date at Galloway Cemetery in Supply, North Carolina.

Pallbearers will be Michael Pigott, Patrick Pigott, Chase Marlowe, Brett Dale, James Brian Little II (Buddy), and Frankie Cooke.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
