Jason Larry Holden

Jason Larry Holden, age 49, of Shallotte, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Jason was born August 24, 1972 in New Hanover County and was the son of C. Larry Holden and Glenda Holden. He was a commercial fisherman aboard the Captain C.L. Holden. He was preceded in death by his father C. Larry Holden and his sister Lori DeAnn Holden.

He is survived by his mother, Glenda Holden of Shallotte; his wife, Tricia Holden; two children, Savana Holden and Quinton Holden of Shallotte; a brother, Barry Holden and wife Fran of Shallotte; nephews, Roddy and Corbett Holden of Shallotte; step-mother, Hazel Holden of Ash; step-brother, Jack Carmichael and wife Misty of Varnamtown; two step-sisters, Dana Hrubik of Ash and Sheila Hall and husband Danny of Dothan, Alabama; Uncles, Ronnie Holden and wife Clarice of Shallotte, Wayne Holden and wife Marion of Florida; a Aunt, Doris Tharp and husband Earl of Boiling Spring Lakes.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Sunday February 20, 2022 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Gurganus Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Causey officiating.

Pallbearers will be, Dwight McCall Jr., Wayne Mooney, Chris Canady, Jeff Evans, Joey Long and Mike Leonard. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Hewett and Mark Galloway.

The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Sunday at Gurganus Cemetery prior to the funeral service.
