Jeanine was born in Brunswick County on February 28, 1960 and was the daughter of Shirley Hewett Thompson of Supply and the late William Arthur Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her sister and best friend Sherry Dosher. She was the definition of a Godly Mother, and worked tirelessly to serve her family. She was full of strength, wisdom and unconditional love. The absolute definition of a Proverbs wife: “For she is far more precious than rubies. Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also”. We will love her all the days of our life,
In addition to her mother she is survived by her high school sweetheart, Tim McCumbee; two sons, Chad McCumbee and wife Stephie of Shallotte and Zachary McCumbee and wife Leanne of Supply; two grandchildren, Cannon and Kinley; a brother, Wayne Thompson and wife Debbie of Ash; a brother in-law, Don “Grunts” Dosher of Supply and a host of nieces and nephews to whom she held a special place in her heart.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon January 19, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:30 at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte immediately followed by a graveside service at 3:00pm at the Dixon Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Supply with Reverend Gerald Kirby officiating.
