Mrs. Smith was born in Englewood Colorado on February 8, 1960 and was the daughter of Margaret Ballard of Florida and the late Joe Cannon.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Jim Smith; a son, Joseph Dyke of Colorado, grandchildren, Karisma and Damien Foresha; a brother, Sydney Ballard of Fredericksburg, Va.; two sisters, Liisa H. DiTarando and husband Matthew of Lutz, Fl., Stephanie B. Lane and husband Mark of Spotsylvania County, Va.; nieces, Jordyn and Joy; nephews, Holden and Grayson.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
