Rosa Diane Stephens

Diane was born January 22, 1940, daughter of the late James Douglas Stephens and Rose Nell Terry Stephens. She graduated Hamlet High School and lived in Richmond County most of her life until moving to Brunswick County. She enjoyed working in her flowers, crafting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when spending time with her great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Hamilton Stephens.

Survivors include her children, Terry Cockman Bland and husband Andrew of Supply, Holly Diane Cockman of Holden Beach; three grandchildren, Ryan Andrew Bland of Supply, Lindsey Blair Huggins of Holden Beach, and Cameron Leigh Huggins of Holden Beach; and six great grandchildren, Gracelynn Rose Bland, Jackson McCray Babson, Owen Andrew Bland, Avis McKenna Babson, Luke Ryan Bland, and William Wesley Danford.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at three o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina. Burial will follow in Mintz Cemtery.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:00 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Bland, Ryan Bland, Blair Huggins, Cameron Huggins, Cody Danford.
