Timothy M. "Tim" Faulk

Timothy M. "Tim" Faulk, 48, of Longwood died Monday the 20th day of June 2016 at his home. Tim was born in Columbus County, NC on January 30, 1968 and was the son of the late Horace Wilbur Faulk and Dorothy Lee Gore Faulk. He was a Sergeant with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department Detention Center. Tim was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and he loved to cook, especially cakes and enjoyed sharing them with others. He is survived by his wife, Julie Ward Faulk; two sons, Johnathon and Matthew Faulk of the home; two brothers, Phil Faulk of Tabor City, Russell Faulk of Shallotte; father and mother in-law, Clawson and Mary Ward of Longwood, sister and brother in-law, Amy- and Dewayne Simmons of Ash, sister in-law, Susan Ward of Longwood; nephews, Benjamin and Justin Simmons; many special family, friends and neighbors. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday the 23rd day of June at five o'clock in the evening at the Ward Cemetery in Longwood with Reverend Lonnie Varnam and Reverend Brad Ferguson officiating. Honors will be provided by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department Honor Guard.
