Wilfred Williamson

He was born in Pelion, South Carolina on March 6, 1930 the son of the late Clayton Williamson and Freddie Loretta Leonard Williamson and was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela “Angie” Williamson Long and a baby son.

Mr. Williamson was a member of First Baptist Church Shallotte.

He was a veteran of the United States Army after 20 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Nina Swain Williamson of the home; a daughter, Cathy Williamson of Shallotte; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 in afternoon on Sunday July 23, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Shallotte by Reverend Bob Weathers officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Alex Cupernall, Malcom Long, “Mack” Long, Doug Hewett, Jimmy Hewett and Randy Parker.
