Betty was born July 21st 1924 at the Richart Farm in Zion, Illinois to Frank and Frankie (Fredrick) York. In 1948 she moved to Cincinnati. She was a Mary Kay Consultant for 45+ years and involved in many clubs/groups such as The Red Hat Society, The Order of The Eastern Stars, and Rosie Reds. She was a well-versed world traveler. Faith played a large role in Betty’s life. She was very devoted, not only to her family, but to the church as well. Betty was a long time, beloved member of Sharonville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 2 husbands Ray Ballard and Jim Daniel; daughter Michele, and siblings Fred, Earl and Bob York, Reba Digatano and Mary White.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her family, son Craig (Karen) Ballard, and daughter Sheri Westendorf; her 5 grandchildren Nicole (Aaron) Stingle, Adriel (Mike) Helms, Chris Westendorf, Heather Ballard, and Ethan Ballard; her 7 great grandchildren Joe, Rylie, Gracie Mae, Blane, Aliyah, Myah, and Clayton. Aunt of Elizabeth Badger, Ronnie White, and Carolyn Lucas.
Family and Friends will be received Tuesday, May 29th from 4:00-7:00PM at Sharonville United Methodist Church, 3751 Creek Rd., Sharonville, OH 45241. Funeral Service Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetary with the wake to follow at the church.
Memorial donations in memory of Betty can be made to the Sharonville United Methodist Church or Hospice.
