Forrest Vesper Cress Jr.

Dr. Forrest V. Jr, beloved husband of the late Catherine Elizabeth (nee Veser) Cress. Loving father of Forrest (Patsy) Cress, III, Kenneth (Tina) Cress, and Glenn (Lesa) Cress. Cherished grandfather of eleven, great-grandfather of fifteen. Dear brother of Mary Jean Zestermann and the late Charles “Nick” Zestermann. Forrest was in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 until 1946. Was a navigator on B29’s. Attended the University of Cincinnati undergraduate, Ohio State University Dental School, and graduated in 1951. He was on staff of St. Francis/ St. George Hospital from 1953 until 1980, and taught radiology at Scarlett Oaks in the Dental Assisting Program a number of years ago. He served as past president of the Business Association of Sharonville, where he had his dental practice. He was active and served at Bond Hill Presbyterian and Garden Park Unity Church for many years, and more recently active at the Fleming Rd. United Church of Christ. Forrest passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 91. Funeral Service Monday August 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Fleming Rd. United Church of Christ 691 Fleming Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
