James Wilder

James L. Wilder, Beloved husband of Joan E. Wilder for 57 years. Nurturing father of J. Samuel Wilder (Sarah) and Sara Hughes. Devoted Grandfather to Stephanie (Adam) Pratt, Suzanne (Robert) Clark, Zach Wilder and Ben Hughes Great-grandfather of Harper Elizabeth Pratt who he thought was a "dandy". Lovingly remembered by his sister Jacqueline Wiseman and brother in law Ken (Linda) Albu. Jim was a loving uncle to Ken (Karen), Kathy, Keith (Ronna), Karl ( Donna) , Kirk (Mary Jane) Wiseman, Kay (Bob) Stevens , Kim (Rick) Giles , Tony (Jenni) and Nick (Christa) Albu, Pam (Ken) Withrow. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Oscar Wilder and Orpah Marie Wilder, Mother and father-in-law Sarah and Anthony Albu, sister-in-law Barbara (Richard) Cottle and niece Karen Wiseman and nephews Kelly Wiseman and Mike Wall. A lifetime member of the Freemasons and Past Master of Wyoming Lodge F&AM 186. An avid clock collector, Jim never met a stranger, had many caring friends and was authentic and true to himself. A universal handy man, he could fix anything and loved life. In his later years he retired as an HVAC mechanic, plumber and became an auctioneer and loved spending time with his family and many close friends and will be greatly missed. Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM with a celebration of his life at 5:00 PM at DiStasi Banquet Center at 400 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming Ohio 45215.
