Gloria had been telling the Lord she was tired and wanted to go home, He answered her prayer May 7th, 2012. Gloria will be missed by her family and friends, but we look forward to seeing her again.
Gloria worked as a young girl in her parent’s store. She worked later in her own restaurant. Later she managed a fabric store and then a bakery. She retired from work and took care of a house full of kids. Gloria loved to cook and sew for her children and husband. She thought of her role as her family’s caretaker as very important and put all her love and energy into it.
Gloria journeyed here on the earth with love and compassion. She put God, her family and her friends before herself. She was an awesome role model of love.
Gloria will be missed by her family. Her husband Arthur Quasius Jr.; her children: Bonnie (Bruce) Russell, Steve Johnson, Darlene Johnson, Sheri (John) Klein, Zack (Gail) Johnson; Step-children: Dale (Marty) Spaeth, James (Cheryl) Quasius, Kathleen (John) Brown, Jane (Bill) Thomas; sisters Ra Mona Holsen and Virginia (Fritz) Moenning; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchild; other friends, family and grand-dogs.
Those who have gone already before her, her former husband William Johnson; her oldest son, Randall Johnson; her youngest daughter, Cynthia Walter; a step-daughter, Terry Johnson; a step-son John Quasius; her father and mother, Hunter and Lyla Beasley; nephew, Jason Holsen; her step-father Rueben Meinhardt; and brother-in-law James Holsen.
We would like to thank Sunny Ridge for all the time, love and care they gave to mom. Also, we would like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for caring for Gloria in her final hours here on earth. Gloria had many caring family members and friends come to see her and spend time with her in the past few weeks of her life. Thank you for taking that time for her.
We will miss you mom. With all our love, Your Family
