

Lillian was born July 29, 1936 in Stratford, WI to George and Margaret (Kaiser) Kreidler.
On October 6, 1956 Lillian and Harold Phillips were united in marriage. They were faithful members of The Salvation Army Corps where they volunteered extensively in many church activities. They were awarded a Bell Ringer Award every year since 1996 through their Red Kettle Ministry. Lillian also was a member of the Home League and participated in Bible Study.
She was an Emergency Lodge Attendant at The Salvation Army, retiring in 1998 after ten years.
After fifty-three years of marriage, Harold preceded her in death on May 20, 2010.
Lillian is survived by five children, Barbara (Michael) Wagner, Bernice (Bob) Ingram, all of Sheboygan, Steven Phillips of Madison, Mary Phillips of Sheboygan Falls, and Miles Phillips of Redgranite, WI; six grandchildren, Joshua (Shelly) Koalenz, Beth Koalenz, Leah (fiance, Mark Reichert) McGlade, Jon (Kayla Bichler) Ingram, all of Sheboygan, Amanda (Lee) Kapellen, and Kristy (Trevor Berceau) Phillips all of Sheboygan Falls, four precious great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Mason, Drew, and Lillian; three brothers, Leon (Geraldine) Kreidler of Sheboygan, Albert (Margie) Kreidler, and Frank (Pat) Kreidler all of Sheboygan Falls, a brother-in-law, Gene Hasseler of Cato, WI; three sisters, Rita Dickman of Sheboygan Falls, Olive Laessing of Marshfield, WI, and Irene (David) Nelson of Sheboygan; a brother-in-law, Russell (Jean) Phillips of Sheboygan Falls; a sister-in-law, Sharon Hansen of Suring; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
her sisters, Rosemary Hansen and Bernadine Fass; her brothers-in-law, Orville Hansen, LeRoy Dickman and Leslie Phillips.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army Corps. Majors Alan and Kim Hellstrom will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for The Salvation Army Building Fund.
Lillian’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kumar and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice care team for their support and loving care they showed to her.
Lillian will always be remembered for her kindness and for being the world’s best mom, grandma and great-grandma. She will be deeply missed.
