
Lucille was born November 6, 1915 in Chippewa Falls, WI to John B. and Maude (DeJardine) Bergeron.
She was a graduate of McDonald Memorial High School, Class of 1933. She furthered her education at Oshkosh Teacher’s College and St. Agnes School of Nursing where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse.
For many years Lucille was employed as an RN, retiring in 1981 as the Public Health Nurse for Sheboygan County.
She also owned and operated a shop on South 8th Street for a number of years where she enjoyed selling and collecting antiques.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Jane L. Neuwirth of Willow Street, Pennsylvania; her son, Thomas A. (Carole) Neuwirth of Bennett, Colorado; one granddaughter, Kelly (Zach) Streeter of Aurora, Colorado; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Duwayne Hanke, Chaplain at Hospice Advantage, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Harmony Living Center and Hospice Advantage for their excellent care.
