

Michael was born August 9, 1912 in Luxembourg, Europe to Anton and Anna (Tempel) Heymanns.
He attended grade schools in Luxembourg, Europe for six years until his family relocated to Sheboygan, WI, where he attended and graduated from Holy Name School, class of 1928.
He served his country in the National Guard from 1931 to 1934.
Michael was previously married to Dorthy (Drews) Darling in June 1937. On December 26, 1960 Michael and Marjory Heiden were united in marriage in Sheboygan. Marjory preceded him in death on May 25, 1998.
He was employed for 37 years at Phoenix Chair Company in Sheboygan as a foreman until his retirement in 1980. Michael then furthered his employment with Ebenreiter Lumber doing maintenance work part-time.
He enjoyed doing yardwork and woodworking.
Michael is survived by his son Mike (Diane) Heymanns, Jr. of Manitowoc; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Marjory, Michael was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Father Matthew Widder of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Wednesday from 10:30am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
A memorial fund has been established in Michael’s name.
