
Nancy J. Linsley, age 79, of Oostburg, transferred to Eternal Life, crossing the Golden Bridge of dying grace on Friday morning, August 26, 2011 after a short stay at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Nancy was born June 13, 1932 in Milwaukee to Elmer and Amanda (Beccard) Borchardt. She was a graduate of Milwaukee Riverside High School, Class of 1950.
On November 10, 1950 Nancy and Dean S. Linsley were united in marriage at Garfield Baptist Church in Milwaukee. For a few years Nancy was employed as a keypunch operator at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Milwaukee.
In 1955 Nancy, Dean and their young daughter, Diane moved to Cedarburg.
Nancy was an accomplished pianist and organist who used her musical talents at churches and for many weddings over the years.
She was a beloved member of Risen Hope Community Church in Random Lake.
In addition to her loving, devoted husband, Dean, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Michael Schmahl of Sheboygan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Steve.
A private family graveside service will be held at Wildwood Cemetery. Rev. Steve Wood, Pastor at Risen Hope Community Church, will officiate.
A memorial service in celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice whose outstanding care team more than met every wish of Nancy’s.
Nancy will always be remembered for her kind, compassionate
nature and her loving and caring ways.
