Patricia Sue Houk

Patsy was born December 4, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Burl and Evelyn (Pruitt) Burnett. Following graduation from Broken Arrow High School, Class of 1969, she continued her education in computer skills.

On March 10, 1978 Patricia and Gary D. Houk were united in marriage in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While residing in Tulsa, Patsy worked at Grace Christian School as Director of Student Activities. The couple moved to Sheboygan in January of 1995 where Patsy began working as secretary at Word of Grace Community Church in Sheboygan Falls, and was later employed at Priority Sign in Sheboygan.

Patsy and Gary worshiped at Word of Grace Community church before becoming members of Praise Fellowship, where Gary assisted in the audio visual ministry.

She was lovingly known as “MiMi” by her twelve grandchildren who were her life and hobby. Patsy was a Proverbs 31 woman to her entire family.

In addition to her husband, Gary, Patsy is survived by her two daughters and stepson, Shannon (Charles) Kraus of Neenah, WI and their children, Alyssa, Alex, Elizabeth, and Erik; Misty (Bobby) Ledbetter of Bristow, OK and their children, Kaylie, Nikki, Hunter, Bailey and Luke; Chris (Shelley) Houk of Catoosa, OK and their children, Jordyn, Jaxon and Avery; a brother, Danny Burnett of Broken Arrow, OK; and other family members and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Praise Fellowship. Rev. Andy Shanholtz will officiate A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

Patsy will always be remembered for her gentle spirit.
