

Raymond was born November 3, 1932 in Sheboygan to Raymond and Lucille Brickner . He attended Sheboygan schools.
From 1951 – 1954 Ray served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He continued his education at Green Bay Technical School where he studied to become a barber.
On June 18, 1955 Ray and Donna Mae Sukow of Laona, WI, were united in marriage. The couple resided in Sheboygan most of their married life, before moving to Sheboygan Falls in 2010.
Ray was a barber for 33 years in Sheboygan operating Roffler Hair Care on Union Ave., until his retirement in 1994.
Ray was a member of the V.F.W. Wolf Olson Post 1230.
He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and the “nectar of the gods” with his friends. Ray and Donna shared many happy years spending the winter months at their home in Mesa, Arizona.
In addition to his wife, Donna, Ray is survived by three children, Bert Brickner (Kris) of Milwaukee, Ray (Debbie) Brickner III of Cleveland and Tim (Terri) Brickner of Whitelaw, WI; four grandchildren, Tammy (Scott), Tina (Dennis), Jake, and Emma; four great-grandchildren, Isabella, Alexa, Dylan and Carlee; two sisters, Bonnie and Kay; a brother, Peter; other family members and pet dog, Charlie.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David; a grandson, Raymond Brickner IV; and a brother, Ronald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 P.M. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Gregory S. Whelton will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Town Mosel. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family extends their thanks to the staff of Comfort Keepers who provided their wonderful care to Ray and his family.
Ray will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to tell a good story.
