William Richard Carlisle passed away on October 12, 2011 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Born and raised in Yellow Springs, Ohio, William joined the Coast Guard when he was eighteen, where he served as an engineman on board USCG ships. He served in Kodiak, Alaska and finally in Sheboygan, WI where he met and married Marcia K. Dion. Bill enjoyed a 30 year career at Kohler, where he worked as a CNC programmer. Bill was a talented woodworker in his free time and enjoyed to barbeque for his friends and family. William is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marcia K. Carlisle, his father Bill Carlisle, two sons Joshua and Nathan Carlisle, and Granddaughter Scarlett R. Carlisle.
A private family gathering will be held at the family home.
