Page Melvin Shuler

On March 14, 1955, he married the late Betty Jane McCoy. They were married for 63 years.

Page was preceded in death by his Father, Melvin Shuler; Mother, Irene Shuler; loving wife, Betty; beloved daughter, Patty Page Whitmer.

He is survived by his son, Edwin Scott Shuler of Winchester; beloved granddaughter and longtime caregiver, Diane Shifflett (Danny) of Shenandoah; grandson, Bert Whitmer of Shenandoah, son-in-law, Frank Whitmer, III of Shenandoah; great-grandchildren, Hailey Shifflett, Natalie Shifflett, Justin Shifflett (Ann), Savannah Mentel (Griffin), Hannah Wood, Annah Wood, Shyannah Wood; beloved great-great-grandchildren Asher Shifflett, Addison Shifflett, Hazel Shifflett all whom he loved dearly.

Page worked many years at Reynolds Aluminum Plant (now known as Alcoa) in Grottoes and retired from there in 1993. He later worked at the Elkton Recycling Center. While working at the recycling center, he would bring along his dog “Baby”. Sweet Baby was his companion for twenty-one years and will miss him dearly. Baby will live on the farm with Diane and Danny.

There will be no formal services per his request. There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
