Arthur Ray Pierce

   Arthur “Butch” Ray Pierce, age 63 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry T. Pierce Jr. and LaVerne (Steinmetz) Pierce; son, William Pierce and brother, Ronald Pierce. He was a United States Army Ranger veteran.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Tara Franko and Carrie Brown; son, James Sturgill; wife, Hilda Pierce; grandchildren, Brayden Paul Franko, Elijah RayLee Franko, Kylan Isaiah James Franko and Aubrey Brown; sisters, Beverly Dye, Mary Frances Reed, Jeanette Billharz and Joan Pierce; brothers, Michael and Hank Pierce, fur babies Lady Bug and Moonie and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted 7 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with entombment on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11 am in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 4 pm until 7 pm on Friday April 16, 2021 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
