Barbara Cox

Barbara Cox age 66, of the South End returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Montgomery and Thelma Mann; husband, Richard E. Cox; sons, Christopher Cox and Michael Cox; daughters, Lynnette Cox and Jackee Arnold; grandson, Jeffery Landers; grand daughters Alexis Cox and Ashlyn Hibbs; brothers, James Montgomery and Robert Montgomery; along with a sister Sandra Fugate.

She leaves to cherish her memory her fiancé, William Cundiff, brothers, Virgil Montgomery, Ricky Montgomery and Michael Montgomery; sisters, Betty Dunn and Cathy Montgomery; sons, Richard Cox, Kenneth Cox and Bobby Dunn; daughters, Donna Montgomery, Whitney Dunn and Angelia Cox; 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted Noon on Monday October 18, 2021 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
