Darla Sue Maddox age 58 of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on August 20, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Adrian Maddox; and son, Nathan Maddox. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Larry Maddox; mother, Mary Brummett; step-father, Donnie Brummett; brothers, Danny Maddox, and Terry Maddox; grandchildren, Christian Maddox and Oliva Maddox; 3 great- grandchildren, David Maddox, Hunter Heck, and Jaxson Maddox; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
