Deborah "Debbie" Clark

Deborah “Debbie” Clark age 74, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born in Louisville on Monday, November 21, 1949, to the late Floyd and Elsie Myers.

She was a catholic by faith and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Mount Washington. Debbie was an animal lover and was a foster mom to many fur babies over the years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers in her garden. She was a big University of Kentucky sports fan.  

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa White, and grandson, Taran Clark.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Clark; a daughter, Tara Clark; grandchildren, Brett, Chelsea, Danielle, and Dawn; 5 great-grandchildren; dear friends, Anna, James, Lyndsey, and T Craven; her fur baby, Duke, along with a host of loving in-laws and dear friends that will greatly miss her. 

Funeral mass will be at 11am Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 155 Stringer Lane, Mount Washington, with burial to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Mount Washington. Friends and family may pay their respects at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville, on Tuesday from 3pm – 8 pm.
