He was also preceded in death by his sister Laverne.
Dennis was a member of the Church of the Crossroads. He enjoyed music, drums and bands. He loved Corvettes, sports and especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 35 years, Dara Sanders; his children, Jennifer Duggins and Ashley Oliver; his grandchildren, Kerrie and Lincoln; his brothers, Elmer Sanders (Donna) and Ronnie Sanders (Sharron); his nephews, Travis Hughes and Shannon Hughes; his nieces Lisa Sweeney and Leslie; his grand dog, Lemon; along with several half siblings and a host of other family and friends.
The Sanders family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with Direct Cremation services. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
