Edna Marie Cottrell

   Edna Marie Cottrell age 60, of Shelbyville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Louisville, on Thursday, February 28, 1963, to the late Oscar and Norma Jarboe. 

   She was a Baptist by Faith who loved her sons and family. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and vegetables.  She was proud of the title MamMaw and loved her grandchildren dearly. 

   In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, James Arnold Jarboe, and husband, Mike Cottrell.

   She is survived by her sons, Danny Parr (Erin), Michael Parr Sr. (Laura Drexelius); grandchildren, Henry, Marita, Michael Jr., and Ava; her siblings, Judy Cruz-Fuentes, and Guy Richard Jarboe along with a host of family and friends.

   Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service at 4 pm at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
