Elizabeth "Bet" Ann Dorsey

  Elizabeth Ann “Bet” Dorsey, age 82 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Grace French Dawson; sisters, Thelma Jean Bryant and Patricia Jackson and brothers, Jim, Elwood, Ray, Bobby, Benny, Sam, Donnie and Bernie Dawson.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bob Dorsey; brother, Eddie Dawson; special niece and caregiver, Debbie Ray (Ron Ray); great niece, Erica Ray; great nephews, Brandon Ray, Travis Ray and Jared Ray and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 2 pm in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 23, 2022, from 10 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
