Frances Irene Bryant

  Frances Irene Bryant, age 86 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Irene was born on Saturday, October 17, 1936 to the late Jonathan and Mellie Blanton in Mitchell Indiana. Irene enjoyed music and she loved to sing. She was a member of Shepherdsville Christian Church where she held many positions over the years including choir director, secretary and treasurer. Irene retired from Publishers Printing in Shepherdsville where she was a proofreader and desktop editor. She loved to garden, and her specialty was flowers. Irene loved her granddaughters and will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

  Irene is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Albert Bryant, infant son, Anthony Bryant, and siblings, Ann, Mable, Eula, Donovan, and Cecil.

  She leaves to cherish her memory her son Shane Bryant (Angie); granddaughters, Kaylie Willis (Morgun), Elizabeth Bryant; great-granddaughter, Kendall Willis, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.   

  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, from 2:00 pm until 8 pm and then Saturday from 9 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
