Gary Lee Wheeler

    Gary Lee Wheeler, 66 of Fairdale, KY passed away at his home with his family by his side, Saturday, January 6, 2024. Gary was born Monday, October 21, 1957, to the late John Wheeler and Mary Donna Logsdon. 

    He is also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wheeler. 

    Gary enjoyed fishing, classic cars, wrestling and nascar. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. 

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Trina Dietrich; his siblings, John Wheeler (Robin), Donna Rose Short (Dale), Anita Stillwell (Dennis), Victoria Hardin and Connie Wheeler; his favorite aunt, Nola Gaus; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

     Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitations will be Friday, 4 pm until 8 pm and Saturday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
