James Leo Blair

James Leo Blair age 92 of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 26, 2018 with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Blair; parents, John Blair, Alice Watson; sons, Kenneth and Gary Blair; daughter, Linda Howard; brothers, Joe Watson, Humphrey Blair; sisters, Dot Mattingly, Alberta Nalley and Joyce Gunter. He was a retiree of Phillip Morris after 30 years and Navy Veteran of WWII. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, James David Blair (Gayle), Cathy Menifee, Sue Ellen Fleener and Danny Blair (Melissa); brother, John Blair; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted Noon on Wednesday in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
