James Thomas Cunningham

   James Thomas “J.T” Cunningham, age 82 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.   He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Cunningham and Ruby Close Cunningham. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #155 in Shepherdsville.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Alice Cunningham; daughters, Jan Cunningham (Jeff) and Laura Samples (Britt); brother, Glynn Cunningham (Carol); grandchildren, Shelby Fox and Andrew Fox; great-granddaughter, Harlan Puckett and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11 am in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Masonic service will be conducted on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 7 pm in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
