James “Jamie” Dowell, age 57 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Geraldine Dowell and sister, Windy Beck. He was a member of Eagles Club, loved hunting, fishing and most of all riding his motorcycle.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sondra Dowell; stepchildren, William Moore (Laura), and Donna Curtsinger (Kenny Duggins); 4 grandchildren, Cory Hill, Gracie Hill, William Moore Jr, and JoJo Moore and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow.
